What did your doc say?
If the 61 in your ID is to disclose that you're from 1961, you're well into your 50ties, and no longer have the perfect body that we all would like to have forever. At least that's how I keep my cool when seeing all the irregularities in my scan reports.
I have a prominent spot right in the middle of my liver (see my earlier post here). My onc-surgeon pointed it out when reviewing one of my earliest post-op scans, turning around his monitor as he always does, with the comment that it had been there all the time and didn't grow. He wasn't worried about it and I believe him.
This, of course, is no guarantee that your case is the same, but for heaven's sake don't panic without having consulted your knowledgeable doctors. They have the knowledge and the experience. Trust them and live life.
I hope/wish your spot that is 5mm now, has been there all the time and is innocent.
Get on the phone and ask
Cheers, L
