Immune system

Postby JDinNC » Mon Apr 03, 2017 7:11 pm

Every time I read an article regarding cancer. They say it's was due to a poor immune system. How does one know if they have a poor immune system ? I have blood work done every 6 month from my primary doctor and my oncologist. My doctors will tell me my blood work looks good but there's always some H's and L's. So what tests should I pay special attention to to determines just how well my immune system is working ? And just what does a person do to boost their immune system ? I'm open to any suggestions.

Thanks

That's a great question.

I wish I knew the answer for certain. However, i take a mushroom supplement that is supposed to boost/activate your immune system, but I really don't how well it works.

Regular Exercise (including strength building) is what I know works best, the theory is it improves circulation and triggers your body/immune system to clear out all the dead cells from the strenuous activity. Also, exercise is one of those factors that have been shown as helping prevent cancer recurrence.
