How beautiful that you could be with her when she passed into God's arms. You can rest easy that you were a wonderful, supportive daughter. I lost my father at 22 and I know it is hard. But even now, at 51, I feel him with me so often. Your Mother's influence, advise, love will be with you always and I know she will be watching you in your cap and gown!!! My condolences and prayers for your family as you heal. Laurie

Natalie - I am so sorry to hear that your mom has passed on. Your post bring tears to my eyes because it was so beautiful that your mom had you and her family by her side. In the end isn't that what we all hope for? I have no doubt that your mom is in a wonderful place filled with love and will be watching you. The fact that you are going to go into oncology is so impressive. It is so hard to lose a parent especially your mom. I lost my mom about 17 years ago at the of 52. She was way too young to pass. She had lung cancer and lived 2 years past dx. I think of her all the time.

I will say a prayer for your mom and for your family.

With love,
Rene
