In Ontario you can donate blood after 5 years from your last chemo and you are NED. It was 2 years but it was changed to 5 last year. I had an appointment a few months ago to donate because I was told it was the 2 year time frame when I arrived they said sorry come back in three. All the info is on the website.

https://blood.ca/en/blood/recent-change ... n-criteria

If you had any blood cancers then you can never donate blood.

In Australia I was given the go ahead to resume donating blood after seven years, which I did. Unfortunately I now have a medical condition (actually several) that are classed as auto-immune. I have taken a variety of immono-suppressants over the past ten years and they no longer accept my blood. Ron.
