CAR T CELL Immunotherapy making progress now with Solid Tumors

CAR T Cell cancer immunotherapy showed promising results treating brain cancer patients.
Drs think it was effective because they selected the correct antigens to target and then injected the treatment directly into the cancer tumors.
This treatment could potentially be used to treat other solid tumors like CRC especially if combined with other forms of immunotherapy like checkpoint inhibitors
Presently its being used effectively to treat blood cancers
