Nice surprise! No more chemo!

Postby HopeForJesse » Thu Dec 29, 2016 7:43 pm

Just a quick update to share some hope.
Good 6 month post op scans and unexpectedly told no more chemo - neither systemic nor FUDR via HAI pump. What a wonderful Christmas surprise. Dr Kemeny was running late and the later she was the more anxious we got. Thankfully she finally waived from the hallway in true Dr K fashion and said good scans- you are finished. When Sandy came in next and asked if the doctor had seen us we didn't even know how to reply as we were so stunned . read the signature below and know there is always Hope! best wishes to all for 2017! :D

Congratulations! Only Dr. K's patients can understand her look and how they can make us laugh! She is so unique. It takes a while to understand how to read her but I won't want any other Doctor as the "General" of my care. She also has been a great support in my husband's battle with pancreatic cancer. She steered us to the doctor's she felt were best and knowing her, he Is keeping an eye on things.

You are in the best hands. God bless you and Dr. K and her wonderful staff. Continued good progress in your journey in 2017.
