CRguy, I believe you said it VERY well. Thank you.

Nik, you too are never far from my thoughts and prayers. I do understand how the holidays can be hard. I loss a parent at an early age, I am ALWAYS so glad when the holidays are in my rear view mirror. And that was before I got my cancer diagnoses.

Niki, know that you are loved by MANY people on this forum. MANY PEOPLE! You have helped so many people. Just look at you post tally. It's up there BECAUSE of all the PEOPLE you have helped on this forum.

If you want to take a break, take a brake. Believe me we ALL take breaks here and there. Again, we are ALL dealing with cancer, not the common cold. Butt please do come back when you feel you can, BECAUSE at the end of the day, you help so many people. At the end of the day, you do CARE about your fellow man. That is a good trait to have.

In my world, you are the "welcome wagon"' around here. An asset :D

I hope 2017 brings you much better health. (((NIKI)))

Thank you to the many here that understand and forgive my inappropriate and hurtful behavior. That is truly not me. We all break at times, sadly, it may be for something stupid (like I did). Again, I am very sorry. I just need some time to take in all the crap I was recently given. Have my time to be sad, angry, etc. So, that is why I said I need to leave, at least until I can get my head back together.

Love and best wishes to you all. If anyone wants to get in touch with me outside here for now, you can send me an email.

Again, thank you to this forum and all of you, you are my family.

I have the forms to fill out for the trial, but knowing the cost...I'm not sure what to do. Being away from family, the cost, which I would have to take from them which they can't afford. So, time, money, no guarantee, including time without family. If it works, great, if not, it's time and money from those I love. How do I choose.

Staying here, doing chemo, hoping to get to surgery and/or SBRT. But then no extra expense and family time.

How do I choose?

Maybe getting a few 2nd opinions out there. Not sure where you are being treated, butt 2nd opinions at major cancer treatment center might be a good start. Sloan Kittering in NYC. MD Anderson, Houston.

I felt bad for Nik when she was virtuously attacked by forum's ladies.

Can't we be nicer to each other?
58 yo male at diagnosis: T1bN0M0, 0/15 nodes, low grade/moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma
03/2016 colonoscopy: 2 small polyps removed in left colon; CEA = 1.3
04/2016 colonoscopy: caecum sessile 3.5 cm polyp piecemeal removed with kind of clear margins

A lot of funny stuff discovered by CT scans in liver, kidney, lungs, arteries, gallbladder, lymph node, pancreas
