Thanks all for the good thoughts...I love this board.
Josh..a brief history,dx in 2002,surgery to remove prostate showed cancer in several lymph nodes and seminal vesicles but PSA went to 0 for 18 months. It then started rising...had radiation (which caused a secondary cancer 10 years later...rectal cancer). PSA back to 0 for another 18 months, then hormone therapy for 9 years which pushed PSA back to 0. Then in Jan 2016 PSA started up and I have done chemo....now it is totally out of control...trying to come up with a plan ....got extensive bone mets, needing heavy duty opiates. Along the way 2 clinical trials....just came off one....had to have 2 units blood today....anyway I could write a book on my history. I have been told many times that I am lucky to be alive, for which I am grateful but I have few options left.
Sending good wishes to all.
