1 year cancerversary

Postby Buckeye » Thu Dec 01, 2016 7:14 am

One year ago today I underwent surgery to remove a cancerous lesion in my colon/rectum. I am doing extremely well. That's great news. People should post messages like this to give support to other forum members that there is light and hope in life after being diagnosed with cancer. My brother was diagnosed with cancer few years back and we treated him for radiotherapy at Advanced Radiation Centers and for surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.
The oncologist did no stone unturned to treat him.

Tarheelmom, It has been surprisingly good and I do have days when I go frequently. On average I go around 3x a day. Usually after I eat a meal. On the off days I can go 5x times in an hour. Fortunately these are rare and I can usually tell when they are on the horizon. All in all I can not complain.
