On 11/5/2009 my husband had an emergency appendectomy and Stage 3 Colon cancer was discovered. He went through chemo which he finished in June of 2010. He's been clear since then. I don't post here much anymore, but I just wanted all of you to know that there is hope. Hugs to all of you who are going through treatments.
Wanted to add that he's been taking 1000 mg of Curcumin with peperine every day since he finished chemo. Don't know if it helped or not, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Love hearing these stories so thank you for sharing. I also take curcumin BCM-95 along with vitamin D3 and turkey tail mushroom. I figure it can't hurt and hopefully will help.

Special staging MRI - clinical staging stage 3b - T3N2M0 (unless spot proves to be met)
8/11 PET scan - spot lit up not nodes
8/16 Port in, 8/17 liver microwave abltn - spot gone
8/23 6 rds FOLFOX started
PET scan 10-13 43% red of tumor and no mets shown
Exam tumor greatly reduced. Surgery 12-14-16.
Clear margins, 7 out of 13 nodes positive. Tumor 2.1 cm
Kras wild, MMS, not MSI. 6 more rds FOLFOX
