TIL trial - no growth?

Postby AngelaN » Mon Nov 14, 2016 5:04 pm

Hi,
For those of you who have participated in the TIL trial - is anyone aware of someone whose cells did not grow???? We got a call today that my husband's cells are not growing. Not sure why. Does this happen? Could they just be slow? UGHUGHUGHUGH. Really disappointed. Super really disappointed. Really hoping someone tells me this isn't the end of the road with this trial.

Sorry about your recent news. Did DH's doctors give a possible reason for this?

Hope it gets better soon for him.

Angela, I don't know the answer to your questions but rest reassured that if someone is able to grow TILs in this planet, that is Dr Rosenberg and his team. He's the one who developed a better way for the growth of TILs, which is quite a challenge. So your hubby is on the better hands! : )
If they haven't told you that he is out of the trial, that only can mean that yes, maybe those cells are just slow, IMHO. Hang in there! Strong thoughts going your way.
