Hi! I'm brand new here so not a lurker coming out of the woodwork. You are blessed to have a healthy baby and a reason to fight! I was actually hopeful my cancer would kill me when I was first dx'd. I know now it's not going to take me out of my life, so I'm fighting not so much to live, as to make the life I get as healthy as possible. To reduce my future suffering. I really don't have a whole lot to live for. I struggle to believe I can make a future I like because I don't like the current lifestyle at all. It seems utterly pointless and monotonous to me. If it wasn't for my beloved little cute dog there'd be nothing I cared about at all some days.
But enough of that, mentioning it is thinking about it and thinking about it is toxic.
So I hope you can see the gift in your child as the reason to fight and endure what ill health brings you.
