Volunteers wanted for research for Urine Test

Postby Marylandmaniac » Thu Nov 10, 2016 7:26 pm

SO I am helping Cary Pharmaceuticals in their research to develop a urine test that may help diagnose colorectal cancer earlier. How awesome would it have been if 5 to 10 years ago I did a urine test at my obgyn and it alerted my doctor that I might have early stages of colorectal cancer??? No instead I have had this grow unknown to me for 10 years!!! I had no symptoms until this past April when I noticed some blood. It still boggles my mind.

Basically they are looking for people who have not had surgery yet. I will take a morning and evening urine sample now and freeze it. I am sending it to them this weekend. Then after my surgery I will send then samples. I am happy to help and really hope they can develop this because I don't want my kids or anyone else going through what I am.

If you think you can help send me a direct message with your name and email and I will then send an introduction email to Mr. Cary so he knows who you are. After that it will just be between you and Mr. Cary.

Thanks everyone, Rene ( Maryland Maniac is my fantasy football team name :) )
