Anyone else have this, or dealt with it? It's the latest thing happening with my husband. Although his is not technically fungating since it is growing up & out of a wound in his abdomen & did not just burst through the skin.
Seeing part of the actual freaking tumor that is killing my husband sticking out of his body is....I don't even know how to say it right, it's just awful. I don't know how he is managing to be as ok as he is emotionally.

Look up Sister Mary Joseph nodule. Is it similar? Google images can give visual examples.

2/7 began consults with Dr Kemeny about liver pump.
2/16 FOLFIRI /started
3/7 laparoscopy showed no cancer in abdomen
3/2016 began folfirinox and asked again about hai pump
5/16 CEA 186
6/16. colon resection and HAI pump, 15/33 lymph nodes, margins clear
7/16 FUDR began. CEA 300+
8/16 FUDR 2nd treatment and FOLFIRI systemic restart. CEA 400+
9/6 added mitomycin to pump.
10/5 CEA coming down

Oh I am so sorry to hear of this. My Grandfather had this happen before he passed. I don't have any suggestions to help you cope with this. I really just wish I could just give you a hug.
