Update KEYTRUDA round 8.
CEA 32.1 BODYWEIGHT 166 BILIRUBIN 1.2
So I got a throat infection that pushed my treatment back a week. The meds they gave me for it knocked me out...they made me feel depressed, sicker, and I don't think I can finish taking all of them. I'll ask on Friday when I go back. Lost some weight due to the fact it felt like I swallowed glass...much better today. Prior to this infection I was feeling real good so I hope it's a temporary setback.

Update: Haven't received KEYTRUDA in over six weeks due to this throat infection, but onc says this is the KEYTRUDA working. CEA still down at 32.6, but bodyweight also down to 153 lbs. The good news is that the tumor has shrunk to 7.1×7.0, from 9.6×7.9, and my onc is scambling to aggressively use other methods, including surgery, to get this fucker out. Still fighting.

I can't imagine those tumor sizes, even the smaller one.

I've asked the surgeon about cutting it out as well and she said that they don't do that - unless it's an emergency maybe?

Thanks for the update.

Upsate KEYTRUDA round 8.
Finally got a dose in after months and by the the next day my mouth was sore. For one month prior I was on steroids and felt great, and for a couple of weeks before that they gave me antifungals for the mouth sores and that started my way to feeling good. My guess is the KEYTRUDA plus antibiotics afterwards really fucks me up. I will try to edit in the medication names at a later date. Went to MSK in the city on Monday for a CT SCAN. The board will evaluate my case on Thursday, so by Friday/Monday I should have a better direction on where we're going with this.
TO NEDSVILLE...AND BEYOND!!!

Had to stop Keytruda due to mouth sores and throat and mouth infection. Tumor grew and CEA up to 68. They are gonna change my therapy and let's see from there. Gotta gain bodyweight.

Sorry to hear this Rob. Hope they find an alternative, maybe another PD-1 inhibitor. Have you ever considered SIRT for the liver tumors?

Hope you get well soon.
Shouldn't they be resuming Keytruda once infections are controlled.
I use paste of an Indian product called katha for mouth sores. Really effective. You may get it at some indian grocery store.
