So I'm lying on the couch with that Whiney pump after my last infusion. Onc cut out the Oxaliplatin due to neuropathy getting worse since the last infusion.
Can't tell you how happy it makes me to be able to drink/eat cold things during treatment and man those beers on Wednesday when I'm unhooked are going to taste awesome!

May you find recovery from this round easier because of the lack of oxi.

YAY! Good for you on your last treatment and getting rid of that annoying pump!! But beware it took me a while to be able to drink cold things again, not real long. I worked in a brewery so like you I couldn't wait to toast the end of the whining pump with a ice cold one

Thanks guys. I have unfortunately fine form having the day off to celebrate with a nice lunch with my wife to being stuck in court for most of the morning (I'm a State Prosecutor, sort of like the US Assistant DA) so don't have much choice when my services are required.
The judge is most amused by my pump repeatedly beeping and reminding me I should be at the hospital.
Plan for the rest of the day is some bubbles, and maybe a cheeky scotch and celebratory cigar on my balcony overlooking the harbour. Might even post some pics
