I'm so sorry to hear this! Prayers for her family. I see that as far back as last Sept, she was preparing to go and how to tell her daughter. I hope that they had good times till the end and many good memories to keep her in their hearts till they meet again. I was just thinking it had been a long stretch that saw no loss of Colon Club members, ah no more. The Beast is still out there. Stay well, everyone, I pray.

Oh I hate cancer. I can only offer my condolences to those she leaves behind. Her posts here were always memorable. I did not know her well but she always came across as such an honest voice and such a beautiful person in every way. This is just a damn shame.

Cherie was so compassionate and caring even while she fought her own battle. My heart ached just a bit everytime I read one of her postings, hoping and praying there would be a miracle for her. Her devotion and love for her family now and in the future was evident. Peace to her family. Andre

Nice edit there, friend ;). The classic favourite of Cherie and KT; they pop to mind every time I see someone post F*ck Cancer.

Yeah same here, dude. Cherie didn't respond to my last facebook message but the photos which were posted of her and her family in the last weeks were absolutely peaceful and lovely. Judging by the comments here and on FB, she made a deep and lasting impression on everyone who got to know her.

I'm driving up-country to attend Cherie's funeral on August 4th so I will pass on the sentiments reflected in this thread.
