Leaving the hospital tomorrow!!

Postby Delinda2 » Fri Jul 29, 2016 3:58 am

Doing my happy dance because I get to go home tomorrow after 13 days at the University of Washington hospital!! It's been a rough ride & I was very close to death, but these docs are some of the best in the world. Doc told my hubby that if he hadn't brought me in to ER I wouldn't have lived. Scary stuff. My kidney function is still too low so will need dialysis for a few more weeks. But they are hopeful it will return completely. That oxaliplatin really did a number on me. No more of that for sure!

Dialysis is no fun, been there and done that, but it's better than the alternative for sure. It seems you are on the right road now, stay tough and take care.
