I love to be able to say "thank you" in a way that is personal and unique.
I was recently given a gift of a hand-made, glass-blown votive tea candle from a small company in New York called
GlassyBaby.
The candles are made of a quality glass and are available in a variety of colors with names/logos that identify the meaning of the candle. With each sale, a donation is made to a charitable organization. The company was originated by a woman with cancer when she, herself, was undergoing treatment. It is an inspiring story that can be read on the company's web site.
Each candle arrives in a lovely white gift box with attractive white cotton ribbon. A handwritten note (of your words and dictation) is included. And I mean the note is handwritten. Someone in the company has beautiful handwriting.
Each candle is shipped FedEx next day air, at no additional charge.
I was so touched to receive this gift - just last week. It arrived at a time when my own health was ailing. The soft glow of the votive candle is both physically and emotionally healing. I admit that I have lit the candle each evening since I received it.
I enjoyed the gift of the votive tea candle so much that I thought that I would mention it here and provide the web site.
