My Oncologist is open 9-5:30, closed for lunch 1 hour, he starts at 9:30. Appointments are set up for 15 and 30 minutes, new patients the most time, weekly patients like myself the lesser. Could be 30 a day but I think he also spends a lot of time doing busy work to keep files up to date because they always are. He's on call 24/7 thru his cell phone. From what he says he spends time always researching new info, he is also a Hematologist and Internist. I've never felt rushed by him, appointments can go way over the amount of time allocated if needed.
In the Chemo Room there can be anywhere from only me to all 10-12 seats full with different people coming and going all day.
Apologize if I've given you more info then you wanted but I had the feeling you were searching for something more.
