05/2016: Latest CT/MRI/Pet show some significant shrinkage on most lesions but one liver lesion growing (progressive disease)
CEA / CA199 : 205 / 182 pre-chemo & 295 / 1600 current

I may throw 'em across the room every once in a while, freak out in a existentialist fit about why the Emperor of Maladies picked on me, but then I'll always go pick them back up and presence myself to deep gratitude for the privilege of still being in the game.

SO true and I get it. I dealt with a lot of anger when I was first diagnosed. I took care of myself, I don't meet any of the risk factors, and everyone in the waiting room looks like my grandparents. How on earth is this happening to me? Now I appreciate in many ways how lucky I am.

I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?
