Finally done!

Postby Lisa90 » Thu May 12, 2016 3:28 pm

Welp, last week was my last treatment - I made it all the way through 12 sessions (although only the first 9 was full on FOLFOX - they dropped the Oxi because I have neuropathy). I hope to God I never have this terrible chemo again. I have had lots of chemo in my life and I honestly have a lot more respect for everyone who's had FOLFOX - this was really bad.

Also, for those interested, I've been diagnosed with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome for reals now; so I guess before long I'll be finding online support for my 5th cancer; although I really really hope not to have to do this again.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing all your stories and advice and helping me get through this one, I really do appreciate it.

I hope more of you have some good news coming your way!

Congratulations, Lisa!!!!! Hang in there - you are a real trooper and an example to us all.

BTW - I received your PM but the system will not allow me to respond -- you probably have Private Messages toggled off on Board Preferences. Shoot me another quick message when you've changed it and I can write you back :D

Congratulations again!!!!
