An Alternative Happy Mother's Day

Postby Phuong » Sun May 08, 2016 1:31 pm

This article came across my FB page.

It covers really well the various things that the non-traditional "mother" role follows, so I thought I would share here. I am lucky to have the most amazing (step) daughter anyone could ask for. Still, cancer took away my ability to have biological children so the line "I’ve got the parts, just not the goods" really struck me. A bit of a bag of mixed emotions I suppose. Happy mother's day to all the moms here - traditional or not.
