Two days after this photo on Tuesday I was vomiting a dozen times in the FOLFIRI infusion chair - but on Sunday I was giving a giant F-You to cancer as I crossed the San Diego Team Triathlon Finish Line... Official photo arrived this morning

Nov '14 cea 27.7 -2 liver masses
Dec '14 left lobectomy and HAI
Jan '15 FUDR and FOLFIRI
Aug '15 fudr done, liver clear, add avastin for lungs. Cea 4.3
Feb '16 CEA rising
May '16 2 wk break then drop Iri for 6 weeks.
Jul '16 cancer grew, constricted main bile duct. Stent inserted. On break till jaundice clears. CEA climbing. Doing reduced Folfox. Allergic to Oxali.
Sep'16 chemo failed. Trial or hospice?

That is seriously the most amazing picture. Showing the world that cancer may take away some things from us but not our spirit. Congrats on the run. I'm now going to hit the treadmill for my two miles that I've been putting off all day!

Sept 2015: scans reveal ovarian mass and liver met; Folfiri
Jan 2016: liver wedge resection and hysterectomy
April 2016: multiple lung mets; Folfiri+Avastin
June 2017: lung mets growing; switch to Folfox+Avastin
Jan-April 2018: dropped oxali; CEA rising
May 2018: back on Folfox+Avastin, add pulse steroid treatment to get platelet count up (continuously in 50s)
