Even Cowgirls get the Blues

Postby Cowgirl918 » Wed May 04, 2016 10:38 pm

Going through another strong round of multiple antibiotics etc. before my next EMR in August. It is nothing compared to chemo or radiation and yet right now, today, it feels like just one more obnoxious process. My life is interrupted, I feel poorly and I am missing my life. My world used to be so BIG. Now I run from the bedroom to the bathroom and use art to pass my time. Maybe we all wish we could turn back the clock. Maybe some with cures are glad they have survived the passage. I guess this Cowgirl just has the blues today. Thanks for letting me share with all of you.

I am sure we all have days like that. I am sad because my surgery will take away from me being able to go see my family for 7 weeks. I will go for 3 (hopefully), so better than nothing. It is the only time a year I can go. And, they are taking my son for the summer so that is nice for him. I try to focus on the positive, but it is hard some days!

Oh cowgirl hang in there.
You have to remain positive. I know it is so hard sometimes but you have to smile.
It isn't fun being sick.. But think of things that bring you joy.

Here am I talking the travel girl , who has been burying myself in work.

I walk around with constant acid reflex, cause I drink way too much coffee and tea. It's my only addiction I have left caffeine.. There are days the chest pain is brutal. Like the last few days.. I over drank tea cause I been exhausted and I can't be sleeping I need to working.

Hugs my friend

I wish so many times to turn back the clock to when I wasn't sick! Summer's coming up and with this ilieostomy I'll be missing my pool time, but then I think things could be worse, and for a lot of people they are much worse so I'm thankful for where I'm at in my life. Cheer up.....if you're still frowning stand on your head and you'll be smiling then.

Thanks to all for support. I feel better today and have accepted that I can not ride my horse until this treatment is done. I did take a lounge chair out into the beautiful afternoon sun today. I would rather be puny outside with my pups and watching the birds than chair bound inside. On the bright side, I only have 8 more days! And I have already lost 5lbs which I can spare
Better days should be around the corner!
