Rectal cancer spreads to elbow

Postby teachpdx » Fri Apr 29, 2016 4:52 pm

So I go to the doctor about a sprain/tear in my elbow (brachial muscle). The dr mentions that people usually injure their biceps and as way of explanation I mention that I had cancer and that I'm deconditioned. He immediately asks me what kind and where it normally spreads to - NOT THE ELBOW  . Do these drs read at ALL? It was so ridiculous as to be comical. SO frustraing

Oh geez :/

if it helps at all, I've had a lot of issues with my bicep at the attachment to the elbow. Looks like its due to (1) all my bloodwork being done on one vein on that side which has created some adhesions. Physio has helped this. (2) my pec is always tight under my port. getting that loosened out has helped a lot with my shoulder which helps my bicep.

Yup, it's all connected. But not a straight line from your rectum to your elbow!
