strange lymph node

has anyone had a lymph node grow bigger in size but show that the suv on pet has lowered? my scan a couple months ago said suv of 14. my scan tuesday said suv 5 but the node grew. i don't get it and i thought the whole deal should shrink if the suv went down. doctor offered no explanation except check again next scan.

That's pretty much the same thing my DR. said. I have multiple lymph nodes that are enlarged and have uptake in the PET Scan. When they did a biopsy of the largest one it came back negative. Now he said it is just a wait and see what happens. He is going to do a CT in 6 months.

yes just sit and wait until next scan cause that is so easy to do!
