I love butterflies and I will think of your Mother and your family when I see them from now on. My deepest condolences to all of you. She taught you a great deal through her courage and you will carry that with you always.

What a beautiful lady. I did not know her well but read many of her posts and she was always a lady. I am so very sorry to hear this and will be thinking of her family.

Began FOLFOX 10/12. oxil reduced after tx 1, eliminated after tx 2. Now 5FU.

Ileostomy reversal 5/13

Folfox strt 7/2014. 6 of 12 tx
Chemo induced DM2
Pet 4 mets to lung (1 cm, 6 mm) Xeloda/Avastin 9/16 to present.
Cryo-ablation to four spots- Collapsed lung/chest tube 2x
Possible local recurrence in a spot or two on PET. Stable CT

Wow... I'm so glad that your mother found ways of Relieving her pain. I never heard of a Reverse Peg tube...But I bet it kept her comfortable. Prayers to you and your family. Your Mom was very special and gave so much of herself to others in this Group.

Stage 3B 5/14 Nodes positive.
Power Port and 7 months of Chemo
Port removed 11/11
8 negative Cat Scans..... 10 years cancer free and Discharged from Sloane Kett!!
Diag age 47 , now 57 Mom of 3 boys.

I'm so very sorry to hear this Kerry,I've been reading this forum from a while back, it's just so heartbreaking when we see someone we've known along this journey has passed.

Sincere condolences to you and your family. She was a special part of this board.
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?

She was a pleasure. I am so very sorry. I drove home after hearing my mum's diagnosis with my heart devoid of hope. In late Autumn on a bush in my Scottish garden sat five beautiful butterflies. For some strange reason they gave me hope. Every year at the same time I look for them but have never seen them so late or so many again.

......I miss her posts. I come here often to just read what others say,..and have come to "know" the folks here. I just hate so badly when this monster steals another away.
