MARCH Scans and blood work/ etc.

My every 6 month CT/ MRI is March 25th. Blood work is on the 18th. I don't see my onc until April 1st but my onc buddy in Australia (from India) will read them for me as soon as the hospital posts them. He's been such a help since my liver met was found and was the one who told me to refuse the needle biopsy, have the PET Scan and go right to surgery.

Anyone else?

Diane, we have almost the same schedules. Blood work and 6 month CT of lungs only, March 25. Onc appt, April 1. I only get the full scans once per year. The 6 month lung CT is to look at existing lung nodules that they have been watching for slow growing lung cancer, (hopefully, nothing).

My husband has blood work and ct scan on the 24th, and we see doc's and get results on the 25th. Anxiety is getting pretty bad again. Prayers are appreciated!

I updated on my ongoing tx thread

Here it is copied from there.

Current CT results:

Lungs, multiple nodules identified thru both lungs. Some show slight increase since October 2015. Largest in right upper lobe 5mm compared to 2mm previously. 5mm left upper 3mm previously. 3mm right lower lobe slight increase. Other scattered unchanged.

Stable tiny likely cyst in inferior right hepatic lobe.

CEA still the same since last test 3.4

Large amount of stool throughout majority of colon.

CT/PET in 2 months, also colonoscopy soon.

Hey Nik sounds like you got some mixed results.

Waiting on my results coming up this Wednesday. Blood work was improved on the iron but some other weird stuff with red blood cells.

I have been having some familiar pain in my belly so not sure what to expect and CEA is not a marker for me.

So today I wore myself out cleaning the house focused on cleaning those odd things like under the couch and how to polish stainless steel refrig.

My hubby played golf ... so we each got relief from stressing out on upcoming news.

Scanned on the 10th I guess results today. 5 lung spots stable. One new one showed up.
Some lymph nodes showed up but they didn't seem to think cancer. I sure dont know why. I wish I could have their mindset. Good luck everyone else!!

I don't have a check up till may 10 with all the fun stuff, blood work, ct scan, and a meet and greet with the hemotoligy doctor. Who coordinates her findings with GI Doctor..

It will be my first I of many more in life to come. Sighing..

But. Won't lie just seeing the appointments lined up, is enough to make me a nervous wreck. And they are two months away. By the time May comes, I'm gonna be a basket case..

I pray all our visit bring only great news...
