Lindsey was a very special friend of mine - even though I knew the time was getting close, when the email arrived that she had passed it hit me like a ton of bricks... She was simply a wonderful person.

I processed my own grief and memories of Lindsey of how she was special to me by writing (as usual - writing is a catharsis for me) - if anyone is curious to read a tribute to her from my point of view.

Thank you Tom, I have added your link to our In Memoriam notice post here as well.
I believe you and Chris have honoured her with great friendship, love and dignity in your tributes.

It is obvious she made a huge impact on those in her life.
May she rest in peace.

A fine tribute Tom. CRC is an indiscriminate killer. So damned unfair. Godspeed with your current research-- I hope like hell y'all get a hit. Seems like if it can be done, you've got the team to do it.

Although I never knew Lindsey, her story like many others on this forum, is a testimony to the hope and strength that lives within all of us. As a woman who also experienced a diagnosis while pregnant, I really feel for her and her family. I just want to add that her picture for the Colondar is absolutely beautiful.
