I bid farewell to my little buddy today. It came out a lot easier then It went in. Emotionally all over the place today. Went antique hunting ( it's what I do for a living) found some great stuff. Wound up going to an AA meeting. Not convinced I'm alcoholic just convinced I don't want to drink. Remembered that I love my life, what I do and who I am. I am so thankful to be alive and well again.Farewell to my port today

I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?

Congratulations! That's a big moment and I can understand being emotional. I'm thankful you're alive and well again, too.
