Cavitary?

Postby midlifemom » Wed Jan 13, 2016 10:37 am

Scan results in - basically stable with minor size fluctuation (increase) in para-aortic node.

One question - one line states
"Possible cavitary changes in smaller (lung) lesions"

What does this mean? From what I can find, I think it's good, right?

Thanks!!!

Jan '15 FUDR and FOLFIRI
Aug '15 fudr done, liver clear, add avastin for lungs. Cea 4.3
Feb '16 CEA rising

Chemotherapy is known to induce cavitation in lung nodules and the cause is usually tumor necrosis (death), so yes this is very good! :D
