Sooo O/T but WAY TO GO SEAHAWKS!!!

Postby weisssoccermom » Sun Jan 10, 2016 7:12 pm

Soccer hasn't started yet so had my Seahawks jersey on, snacks on the kitchen counter and was watching the game. Glad I was INSIDE and not in that stadium! Damn it looked just downright F-R-I-G-I-D ....well, duh, it WAS! Actually hit a high of ZERO at the very end of the game. Brrrrr!!!

OMG, WHAT A GAME! I'm still in shock at what happened. Anyone else watch the game?

So proud of our Hawks! Now, let's go get over to Charlotte (hopefully a much more balmy day there next Sunday) and kick some butt in the BOA stadium. :D :D :D

Being a Bronco fan, I've been watching all the games. The Pittsburgh game last night was exciting, and WOW, I can't believe that Viking kicker missed the field goal.
Congratulations Seahawks.

We really enjoyed the Seahawks win since we live in the San Juan Islands in Western Washington. We have lived here for nearly 10 years, and before that 20 years outside of San Jose CA making us de facto 49er fans. But I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, went to college in Meadville, PA, and then lived in Cleveland for seven years, so I still have fond memories of the Steelers emerging from the 40 years of losing to the Bradshaw years of four Super Bowls. I still have to root for the Steelers as long as there is no "conflict of interest".

Me, I'm a Green Bay Packer Fan (from a very early age when Vince Lombardi was head coach). Just like Terry. All I'm saying, may the best team win (butt secretly hoping for a Packer Superbowl win).

If not the Packers, go Cardinals!!

Superbowl will be interesting this year. Again may the best team win!!

Being a lifelong Vikings fan I can say it was a shock when he missed that. Now we can add another crushing loss to 4 SuperBowls, the Darrin Nelson drop in 1987, missed left in 1998 and 2009.

At least we now seem to have a good coach and a core of good young players so we're moving in the right direction. Still hurts...

Being a Cowboys fan.... I've been looking forward to soccer for weeks! LOL. It should be a good superbowl nonetheless.
