Unfortunately my scan shows the cancer is back, in my pelvis and wrapped around my left ureter and squashing my kidney. Devastating doesn't even come close to how we feel, I have 2 girls 10 and 6. I hope you all have better news.

Not got sufficient words to express how truly gutted I am for you.
Much love and support. I guess its far to early to have seen your oncologist.

I had jumped in earlier to say I have my mammogram (diagnostic and ultrasound) this month. Everything was normal/ benign. What's odd is that the radiologist who did my chest CT had mentioned calcifications, which I knew I had......... Never saw a radiologist mention the breasts in 7 years of scans.

I'm sorry for those who have gotten bad news.

I wanted to add that my husband had his post chemo/rad MRI and CT scan last week. The CT was clear, and the MRI revealed he has had a complete clinical response to chemo rad. His LAR is scheduled for Monday January 25tg. The choice was presented to him to not have surgery, but his surgeon and him decided to go ahead with the LAR. I'm scared but feeling hopeful.

Positive thoughts for all having scans. I am at the other end of the spectrum and will have my first scans this month. The unknown is frightening and the wait for results unbearable. I am praying for all us.

Thank you :). I thought I was coping well, but I woke in a bad-results-dream-induced hyperventilating panic attack at 4am today. Scanning in 7 hours; will ask for some lorazepam while I'm there

Thanks everyone - I'm officially 26 months NED. I went to the GP to get anxiety meds and he surprised me with my results. He said they had an exceptionally close look at me, and nothing suspicious was found. So ridiculously happy I can tell my daughter I'm ok for now. I had a bad feeling about this one so the news has really blown my mind. Watching south park and drinking wine with a grill cheese sandwich now.
Best wishes to everyone :)
