"ANYONE diagnosed with CRC under the typical age of 50 (this doesn't mean you currently have to be under the age of 50) apply to be featured in the 2017 Colondar 2.0 magazine. You must be comfortable with sharing your story and your scar(s).

If you are selected, you will attend a survivor retreat in Tennessee June 8-12, 2016. Applications are due before March 1, 2016 and selected survivors will be notified on March 31, 2016. 

If you have never seen the Colondar or Colondar 2.0, you can go to Colon Club to check it out! 

I guarantee you it is an experience that you will NEVER forget. You will make connections with others just like you and will stay in touch for years. Please share this post with anyone you think should apply!"

Hey everyone! PLEASE apply for the 2017 Colondar retreat/shoot! Help us get your story out there and help stop this cancer war we are fighting. Post the link on your social media sites as well. We want to make this the best magazine ever and need your stories or the stories of other CRC warriors that you know.

Remember - you don't have to CURRENTLY be under the age of 50 to apply. You just have to have been under the age of 50 when diagnosed. The focus is on those under the typical age.

I never thought that I would ever do something like this, but I'm so glad that I was pushed outside of my comfort zone and became a part of this absolutely amazing experience. If you're worried about not knowing how to be a model, don't worry. The team of people that put you together and get you in front of camera will walk you through the whole thing and it is just fun and you will not be nervous at all. I wish that I could tell you how much this experience changed my life, but there are really no words to explain it. It is a time of no barriers, no need to apologize for funny bodily noises (from you or your ostomy), and of being surrounded by other survivors that just get it because they've lived it. Apply and tell your story. Make sure you follow the application instructions carefully. Go to "colon camp" - you will not regret it!!!

Hi Trish- how are doing these days after the two cancers? It seems like you beat both which is amazing!

Hi I'm interested was dx in 2010 IIIb at 45 , but my scars are minimal I had a great surgeon ! Would consider someone who has small scars ? I am now 51 . Also . Thank you

I think the application deadline closed on March 1 ….. for the 2017 Colondar
You would have to PM Krista, Colon Girl to see if they could still review another application though.

….. BUTT there is still 2018 coming up and they start working early to get a lead on things.
