In November of last year, the PA at my oncologist's office, told me my CEA was on the rise, and I had 4 nodules in my lungs The oncologist would not look in my eyes My oncologist has always been too straight forward with me, and perhaps the facility noticed. I was told I needed a CT scan, as my CEA was rising. I knew my oncologist, and she was hesitant to push me into the scan. I avoided doing the scan, and waited it out. Again, I saw the PA , who was livid, I didn't get my scan, and my CEA was rising. (She knew I was watching my CEA) Once again, I was not intimidated, as my oncologist didn't even bother to get involved. I told the facility I no longer needed their services, went to another facility, which had my CEA, at 3.2 instead of 6.7
They recognized 1 node at 6mm, instead of 4 nodes
Previous PET scans, CT scans, showed that node at 8mm with no cancer
Saving a few dollars, not doing CT scans, I was able to take a trip to New Orleans, and Biloxi, Mississippi. One of my bucket list items, was to see the Mississippi river, and go to the other side.
I feel great, and it's off to Biloxi, Mississippi once again. Cancer will just have to catch me, before I'm willing to dote on it more
