Do you live in MN? Just curious as I do. I also have a very understanding palliative doc who I could suggest for helping with meds or anything to coping or therapy or whatever you may need.

I live in Florida.. I gave up trying to get meds. I am meeting with another Dr next week. I will try and ask her especially if she stresses me out with bad news.

It sounds like it was tough. I know the first 2 days you were doing good. Sorry it got to be that bad. I know you didn't have chemo or radiation but I would hold off on the long walks. I'm sure walking down your own hallway 5 times a day is enough.
Resting is also good for healing :)

Ok, please ask about possibly seeing a palliative doc in your area if you need to. Best wishes.

I think I figured out the path report to the staging of the cecum cancer.
Stage 1 = T1, N0, M0 tumor grade between G1and G2.
Tumor invaded sub mucosa...
They also removed the right colon and ileum plus 20 lymph nodes.
To be honest guys I had the report for three weeks had no desire to read it.
So depressing to read.
Plus I still have my bonus cancer yet to deal with follicular lymphoma... The two for one extra special treat.. Uggg.

Everyone needs a break. If you didn't feel like messing with it then you shouldn't. :) resting sounds better than paperwork anytime!

You have to be feeling overwhelmed. be patient and kind with yourself. This has been a terrible blow but you are now taking control and on your way to recovery. I understand your fear. Keeping you in my prayers.

I'm glad you found your cancers early by chance!! I know several people who survived two cancers as i had 2 as well and said the same thing as you - what are the chances of having 2 before 39 and walk out alive? I'm even looking for melanoma and others- i am on a hunt for cancer but i really hope i had two glitches and that's that. I hope the same for you!! It is possible to survive two cancers and hopefully us too!

Hello there...I had a lymphoma scare in the midst of my CC diagnosis and while I was out of my mind during this time I do remember doctors saying its "very treatable".

Deep breaths....

Well saw my Doctors last week. All three of them. Colon surgeon, Genetics Doctor, and Hemetology Dr.

They all had good things to say. as a matter of fact they even thanked me for choosing them as my Doctors. I must now be part of some lab rat study. My guess. Never been thanked for going to a hospital. Actually thought I was hearing things.. Lol.. Even offered to start screening my kids as well.

Makes ya wonder should I be freaking out, or should I consider myself lucky?

The colon surgeon said the cecum cancer was a straight stage 1, no involvement with any other body parts. I will be screened and watched more often. No additional treatments. Just colon cancer screenings...Small possibility it can return somewhere else I am guessing?

The Genetics dr needs to run a few more tests to nail down the Lynch Syndrome. Cause of the Follicular Lymphoma it makes it harder to verify, just taking blood samples. They need skin tissues along with the Blood work. I will return for further testing.

The Hemotolgy Dr. Asked a million questions, checked my glands and said don't loose weight, and to call her if I get a fever that won't go away or I start having drenching night sweats. i have a very early stage follicular lymphoma. The cancer is very slow growing and all they will do is a watch and wait approach. They usually only have to treat 1 out of every 3 people with this type of cancer. I will just require Ct scans every three months for the first year, then every six months second year, then once a year after that. How ever again said this cancer has and can morph into a more aggressive cancer and they would treat rather quickly and generally able to zap it into remission.

I just can't party like a rock star any more... Need to eat heathly and exercise.. No Smoking or Drinking.. I think I can handle all that..

So what does a travel girl do when she goes through all this? I book myself on a rock and roll cruise.. I need a cancer break I do.. More than I can handle .. My tummy hurts but the hell with it. I am going to,listen to rock bands and relax next week at sea..

No BS Cancer will stop me from doing what I love best traveling.....To hell with cancer..

It's that time again. Three month checkup.

I am a complete nervous wreck.. I am literally dizzy, short of breath and having chest pains. I only slept five hours last night. Knowing today I need to leave to drive four hours to my 1st set of scheduled cancer monitoring appointments..

Is this all normal part of having Effin Cancer? Cause I don't like being a complete nervous wreck wondering if tomorrow's results will end with being told to call the coroner, there isn't a dam thing we can do for you.

God this is beyond nerve racking. You have to pull out every ounce of strength you have just to hold it all together and not fall completely apart.

I can't even think straight.. Thank god all my work is done. And literally, all I am set up for is three blood labs, a CT scan, a meeting with lynch dr to cut away some skin and a meeting with the hemotoligy Dr. who will coordinate my results with the colon surgery dr and the GI department.

I EFFIN HATE CANCER..

sorry I needed to vent thanks for listening...
