Deportation Done

Postby NedPlease » Sun Dec 13, 2015 10:55 am

The chemo port is gone after five and a half years and I have it in a jar in case it is a lucky charm. Afraid of jinxing myself, it was a strangely uncomfortable decision to make to remove it, but it's done now. My next scan in June will determine if it was a good decision, but I remain cautiously optimistic.
So, friends, count me as another stage four who is still here.
Happy Holidays,

Ned, I kept mine in past chemo, well over a year. I was gambling that they might come up with an alternate solution to chemo and need the port for treatment.
