our cancer creed

Postby helen098 » Thu Dec 10, 2015 4:24 pm

I think we should write a cancer greed sort of like the travelers never stand when you can sit, sit when you can lie down…. to give to all newbies

I will start
Cancer Sucks but not all of the people you meet will.
Eat/drink whatever you can whenever you can
Exercise – even if it’s just standing up – every day
Nap daily because once you return to “normal” there will be no more naps
never trust a fart

what can you add?
stage 3A surgery 6/6/6 finished chemo jan 07
11 5FU/12 Levcouorin/10oxaliplatim
port removed jun 07
anal fistula surgery oct 05 may 07 feb 08 sep 08 jun 09

Cancer is a marathon, not a sprint.

Don't spend so much time worrying about the future that you forget to enjoy the present.

Be your own best advocate.
