Husband passed away on Thanksgiving

Postby mich » Tue Dec 01, 2015 9:13 pm

My husband lost his battle with this disease on Thanksgiving . He had this disease 3 months short of 9 years... He had good to excellent quality of life until about 5 months before he passed. USC Norris cancer center did a superb job keeping him alive aslong as they did.
I am still in shock that he is gone, it just doesn't feel real.

So sorry to hear about your husband...no one wants to lose a love one especially around a holiday. Your husband sounded like a strong person who fought his cancer with strength and dignity. My condolences to you and your family, may you find comfort in the months ahead.
