This is incredibly sad news. Carmen is an incredible woman. May she rest peacefully. Love and condolences to her beloved family.

9/10 6 mos off chemo, Neg PET&CTC CEA nl
2/11 finished total 10 rounds chemo

9/13 ^17th clean PET/CT NED for now

Just a few days ago she was active on facebook and asking about what to tell her daughter, I hope she still got the chance to cuddle her little girl.
So unfair, so sad, so very very scary.

Wishing her family all the strength to learn to cope with her loss.

As I'm a new member here, I didn't know,Carmen. From reading the comments, it very obvious that Carmen was very much loved as a person ,and as a valued member of the group. May I just add my deepest condolences to her extended family and friends.
Let your new journey begin, Carmen. God rest you, and may you hence forth and be a messenger between us and our higher power. Rest in peace.

I just cannot imagine the loss for her husband and daughter. Very sad and bittersweet that her pain and suffering are over.

I am so very sorry to hear this, she was so brave and a true inspiration to so many......another angel taken too soon.
