lost a customer and friend to CRC last monday

Postby Nickmark59 » Tue Nov 17, 2015 7:45 pm

Meet tom 3 years ago when I started a very large fire/burg alarm project in Wheeling he pass this past monday at 69 like me he was a survivor going on 8 years when the cancer popped back up in his colon and lung . His previous treatment he did not get chemo but this time they insisted on it and the chemo almost kiled him . I am mad I am sure he would still be here today for a few more months even another year or two had they just done the surgery and not bombarded him with chemo . To make matter worse I did nt find out he died til talking to one of his employees when they had a problem at the site.
Why do they keep on pushing chemo for older adults when they know the outcome every time that it seems to spread the cancer faster.
CRC- IV 7-th yr Survivor -5 rectal tumors 1 bleeding with mets to liver
Rad. 36 treat.
with 6 Chemo 2-Ox.- 4 Fol.
surgery 15 hrs to resect colon and liver- Feb 08
follow up 6 chemo Folfox
