Only speaking from experience, but sometimes computer/phone should be confiscated for our own good. I took photos of my tumour pics while in recovery and sent it to many of my friends and family 
Many did not even know I was having a colonoscopy and were like what??? Lol, wow. And wait, there's more...tumour was in my rectum. Taking TMI to a whole new level, indeed.

-Feeling chronically tired summer and fall 2015
-November 2nd 4cm tubulovillious adenoma with focal high-grade dysplasia discovered in rectum during colonoscopy-partly removed
-pathology for polyp/tumor removed shows negative for carcinoma Nov 5
-currently waiting to be booked into surgery to remove remaining polyp/tumour
