Losing another friend and customer

Postby Nickmark59 » Sun Oct 18, 2015 6:29 pm

One of my customers and friends i just found out after doing some work there is in end stages of colon cancer and has been a long time survivor like me but it has now come back after 7 years with a vengeance last I spoke I knew he had a small tumor in colon and one in lung and he was doing chemo for first time as he only had surgery and radiation previously . I know there is some controversy to doing chemo after surgery I did it before and after but he never had the chemo before and it was horrible on him his first time he did it . The last time I talked to him about 6 months ago thought everything was going fine but have now found out else wise. I can only hope for a miracle at this point and he passes peacefully as he was in constant pain from his surgery after being treated the first time for CC :(
CRC- IV 7-th yr Survivor -5 rectal tumors 1 bleeding with mets to liver
Rad. 36 treat.
with 6 Chemo 2-Ox.- 4 Fol.
surgery 15 hrs to resect colon and liver- Feb 08
follow up 6 chemo Folfox
