I had RFA on both lungs, the first was ridiculously easy and painless. The second was pretty painful, probably because of proximity to diaphragm, so don't turn down pain Meds. Where is he having this done?

You can pm me if you have specific questions, DK,bb and a few others have been through this recently.

I've had it done twice with no problems at all. In and out the same day; no pain. I'm scheduled for another one early next month.

Going through the liver and diaphragm, however, sounds a bit more invasive than what I've had, so I can't really say.

Best of luck to both of you and here's hoping for a swift, painless recovery.

I don't have any words of wisdom as I have not been through this, butt, I do hope the surgery is a success and puts your DH in the land of NEDville.
