Sorry I haven't been supportive of my cc friends

Postby Icesk8tr » Sun Sep 27, 2015 5:14 pm

33 days out ot the summer I've been in the hospital due to three intestinal obstructions.
I had the NG tube all three times and TPN (tube feeding) due to losing so much weight.I am trying to slowly regain my strength while on chemo. A few weeks after I left the hospital my Mom died. Hopefully I can regain my strength and be more active soon.

Hugs❤️

Wishing you only good things from here on.

Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.

After my 3rd obstruction I demanded a surgeon go in and clean things up...that was a year ago. No problems since....eating whatever I want. Feel your pain, Not much compares to the misery of s small bowel obstruction!

Were your obstructions temporary? If so, take a look at my story:

http://www.lensjoy.com/Blog/EatOrganicOrDie.htm

Strangely coincidental, I had three temporary obstructions last summer. I switched to organic grains and they disappeared. I suspect food contaminated with glyphosate (the weedkiller Roundup.) If you can remember what you were eating before the incidents, that might help. Roundup is at the highest levels in conventionally grown whole wheat and bran, soybeans, and corn. It's at lower levels in many other foods. Since then, no problems! I wish you the best.

My condolences on your loss. I lost both my parents in the three years after my diagnosis. It's rough.
