How did u choose your username?

Brownbagger obviously packs his lunch, right? Me..I am a flooring installer (carpet). Get it? Floor installer. Florencedollar. I crack myself up sometimes.

It doesn't mean anything, but if you google it, it will be me anywhere u find it (at least I hope). Cuz ieowi is just a bunch of random letters with no meaning ? I think !

The beginning of my last name and birth yr. I was thinking of changing it to Nik Colon since my first and middle name is Nicole Lynn, I go by Nik or Nikki tho, but decided to stick with it since that's what people are used to so I put the other in my sig :)

I was beside myself with worry researching symptoms prior to diagnosis. See me worrie. (C Me Wrrie) :?
wife of DH (04/24/15 dx: age 43) Low RC T3N0M0 stage 2
4/27/15 clear CT
5/18 - 6/25 chemo/rad (ended xeloda on 6/19 due to side effects)
8/12/15 - ULAR scheduled - APR performed due to location - path showed T1N0M0
9/25 begin 5 rounds of xelox
10/30/15 - switch to xeloda only due to allergic reaction
1/22/16- last xeloda!
3/27/16 - post treatment CT - clear except soft tissue presacral area (possibly scar tissue) CEA .5
4/20/16 - post treatment colonoscopy

Well, let's see...

My pain was actually so bad at diagnosis that I could barely walk. I remember seeing people at the grocery store walking normally and feeling jealous. It was all I could think about.

10/15 - CT/MRI clear CEA 0.7
4/16 - CT clear
10/16 - CT/MRI clear CEA 0.6
5/17 - PET clear? Follow up MRI to verify inflammation

I live in South Carolina and drive a Mercedes E320 Bluetec diesel.I use it on several Mercedes forums.

Combo of two states I've lived the longest in, and I'm a gal.
DX rectal cancer Aug 04
Surgery Sept 04, perm ostomy, "BarbieButt" Sept 23, 04.
June 2019 stage 3 esophageal cancer
Aug. 2019 28 radiations, 5 chemo
Nov. PET shows original tumor and mets resolved, 2 new mets in liver and bone.
May 2020 port installed, started Folfox hope to do 12 rounds, cure not expected
Keytruda April 2021 8 rounds
scan showed small growth in tumors
Paclitaxol started summer 2021.
Scan July 30, 2021 showed small decrease in size of tumors in liver and bone

All four kids played very competitive soccer..went to tournaments all over the country....two played in college and three were on the Olympic Development team. Soccer was just a natural part of our life for so long and I was the team 'mom' even when they went off to college and played. Username wasn't hard to come up with: Last name + the term 'soccermom' because I was the consummate soccermom.
