My mom has been in the hospital, today is her 14th day. She got an infection in her GI system. She went to the ER for pain but stayed in for another thing. This new chemo she's on has lowered her blood counts
, she's on folfiri with avasten. This infection has caused her a lot of diarrhea and because of the diarrhea she is losing a lot of potassium and that's bad for the heart. And on Monday she will receive chemo, which I doubt that she will receive it. This new chemo has knocked her out. Pls pray so she can get rid of this stupid infection. Thanks much appreciated

Had chemo 12rounds finished on 10/2014
Cancer came back. Had fluids in her lungs. Fluids came back cancerous. So docs said its metastatic colon cancer. She's on chemo again. Tumor or tumors don't show up on PETScan nor CTScan. Docs say she Has an odd case
Had surgery to remove tumor. 19 lymph nodes removed all cancerous

Her doctor ordered a colonoscopy, they did it today but they did not complete it because her intestine is so inflamed they couldn't pass through..they said it could be her crones disease or more cancer.
