Two questions has anyone had a tumor or mass that was not growing in the cecum or on the outside of the cecum but actually inside the wall of the cecum? 2nd, Can someone tell me what to expect from a surgery consult?
I know I have asked the cecum question before but thought I would put that out there again.
I have a tumor growing on the inside of the wall of the cecum that is bulging through but has not come through yet, they have been unsuccessful at doing a biopsy on the tumor itself because of the placement of it and I have a surgery consult scheduled for September 8th. They are saying it is likely a carcinoid tumor or gastro stromal tumor.
Just looking for someone with anything like this. Also wondering what to expect with a surgery consult.
