It's possible Katy - ablation (like radiation) kills cancer cells in an "immunogenic" way (i.e. in a way that presents the guts of the dead cell to the immune system in a way that makes it easier for the cancer to get noticed/attacked).
Won't know until the clinical trial if it helps MSS-CRC but there is scientific rationale behind trying it-
